- Home - Catapult Catamaran is a family run business concentrating on a high quality standard of work.
The Catapult is a high performance fine entry power catamaran with island wheelhouse all moulded in maintenance free GRP.
- Boat Application - The specification of each boat depends on what each customer wants.
Each one is unique and individual, meeting your required needs from 10m to 16m. We can build to: LSSCR, Sea fish, MCA and Irish P5.
- Concept and Design -The concept: To produce a large, fast, highly efficient hull with excellent load carrying capabilities.
The Design: A hull moulding with ultra fine deep ‘V’ forward sections reduce any slamming to a minimum, this also keeps the vessel on a more level altitude whilst running through all the speed range.
- Wheelhouse - The wheelhouse is designed big enough to accommodate all personnel with 2 more seated and protected by the rear roof overhang.
An outside wash down toilet cubicle has also been incorporated for
ease of cleaning. The wheelhouse design and styling was to
compliment the hull, giving a visually low mean aggressive look from
the outside yet light and airy inside.
- Specifications - Engines installed 2 x 6 cylinder Iveco nef common rail high pressure diesels @ 370hp,
Boat coded MSA Cat 2 all equipment on board, 8 passengers, and 800 litres of fuel,
Boat achieved top speed of 28.6knots @ 3000rpm.

Each vessel can be supplied as a finished craft to your specification, a sail away or a full molding package, we supply boats from 10m – 16m.
- News - We have now expanded! Due to continuous orders we have moved to new, bigger premises to try and satisfy demand for our popular 12m vessel.
Main access doors for vessels have been constructed and the whole building has been renovated. We are in the process of building our mould shop at the moment ready for our build – a passenger ferry.
